This video is about the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision, Garland v. Cargill, in which the supreme court overturned ATF’s ban on bump stocks. The supreme court ruled that ATF violated its authority because a bump stock does not fit the definition of a “machine gun” under federal law. An important takeaway here is that SCOTUS did not rule that the Second Amendment protects bump stocks, only that ATF did not have the authority to ban bump stocks.
